Dorian and Alan
Dorian turned to face Alex, as panic coursed through every fiber of his being. He stared at the items they were surrounded by, and he couldn’t believe how much difficulty he was having.
“Dorian, anything you buy for Alan’s birthday will be his favorite gift. You have to know that.”
“But it has to be perfect,” he exclaimed. “I can’t just grab something and hope he likes it.”
Alex’s expression grew grim. “I’ve never seen you like this before. What’s wrong?”
Dorian jammed his hands into his pockets. “Wrong? Everything! He’s given me a new life. He’s shown me that he can make me soar, when no one else ever could. He gave me the greatest gift ever, and if I come home with a shit present, it will show in his face. I can’t bear the thought of seeing him disappointed. I think I did enough of that when we got together.”
Alex wrapped an arm around Dorian’s shoulder. “Hey, it’s fine. We’ll find the perfect thing for you to give him. I promise.”
“But his birthday is tomorrow! I shouldn’t have waited. I—”
“Stop that!” Alex snapped. “I don’t know Alan all that well, but he loves you with his whole heart. If you didn’t get him a gift, he’d still love you.”
Dorian’s stomach knotted. “You don’t understand. You have Leo, and you’ve been together for years. This is all new to me, and it has to be right.”
“I understand better than you think,” Alex assured him. “When Leo gave me my birthday gift, I knew I’d never be able to give him something half as nice. I had no money to speak of, and wasn’t sure what he’d like.”
“So what did you do?”
“I gave him the one thing only I could give him. Me. I was in the bed, naked, waiting when he got home. I was so nervous, I couldn’t even get an erection. But when he walked in, and saw me there, his nostrils flared, and he started stripping off his clothes. When he finished making love to me, I told him how sorry I was that I couldn’t figure out a different gift, something he’d like better. He put his hand over my mouth, then told me I wasn’t allowed to talk.
“He kissed my neck, my chest, my shoulders. His fingers were everywhere, including in my arse. When he had me on the edge, he took me into his mouth, and sucked me hard and fast, his fingers pumping in my hole at the same time. I never shot so hard. When he let me go, he licked the come from my stomach and chest. Then he pulled me up to him, and told me that no gift could be as precious as me. He said he was grateful that he had me in his life, and that he knew we’d grow old together. The gift was supposed to be from me to him, but he gave me something precious, and I couldn’t believe it.”
“So you don’t think Alan would be upset if I did what you did?”
“Please tell me you’re joking. Alan would be over the moon, I promise.”
Dorian glanced around the store again, then steeled his resolve. After he got off the bus, and made it into the house, he checked the clock. Alan would be home soon. He said a little prayer to anyone who would be listening, then stripped off his clothes, and climbed into their bed. When he heard the door close, and Alan calling out, he wished he had found something else. This would be a stupid gift, and he was certain of that. But it was too late. He’d committed to this plan. He lay back, spread his legs, and waited. When the door opened, Alan took a step into the room, and his eyes went wide.
“Happy birthday, Sir.”
Alan smiled. His stare was almost feral. He began to remove his clothing as he stalked to the bed, never letting his gaze stray from Dorian. He ran a hand over Dorian’s chest and said, “I think I would have preferred to unwrap it myself, but to be honest, I’m glad you did this. I don’t know I could be patient enough to wait.”
“If you’d prefer something else—”
“Oh, sweetheart. I want it all. The whole package. It’s perfect for me, and I can’t wait to try it out.”
He latched his lips to Dorian’s neck, and all thoughts of disappointing his master went out of his head.
As Alan pinched Dorian’s nipples, he smiled and said, “This is the best gift I’ve ever gotten. Thank you, boy.”
Dorian breathed a sigh of relief. He hadn’t disappointed Alan. In fact, as Alan lay over him, Dorian realized that giving himself to Alan, without hesitation, was the greatest gift he could offer. Then, as Alan touched him in spots that only he knew, Dorian didn’t need to think anymore.

Blurb: In all his relationships, Darren Fielding never found the level of intimacy he witnessed between Thomas Williams and his sub, Peter, the day of Peter’s “rebirth.” Not only that, he never realized such intimacy was possible. For two years, Thomas’s business card has been burning a hole in his wallet. When Darren’s lover moves on, maybe it’s finally time to see where that card takes him.
Collars & Cuffs’ new barman, JJ Taylor, is really conflicted right now. He went to the club with a very specific purpose, already convinced of what he’d find there. Except it’s not what he expected at all. He certainly didn’t anticipate finding himself drawn to the new wannabe Dom. Nor could he have guessed the direction that attraction would lead him.
Old love, new love, vows, pain, rage, moving in, moving on…. The members of Collars & Cuffs face an event that touches some of them deeply, but it will only reinforce what they already know: together they are stronger, and some bonds cannot be broken.
About the Authors
Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C. WELLS always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way. K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, when the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings—writing about men in love was even hotter….
K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career. The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.
And as for those men in love that she writes about? The list of stories just waiting to be written is getting longer… and longer….
Good day! We are the voices that live inside Will’s head. The ones who whisper to him constantly, beckoning him to speak of our adventures, to tell of our love, and perhaps, if we’re in a mood, kill a person or two.
We guide his hand as he tells our tales where love is the most powerful force, but must be worked for, molded, and finally, embraced. There can be no shortcuts or substitutions on the path to a happily ever after.
We hope you will join with us as Will fulfills his obligation to ensure our stories are told and, we hope, enjoyed.
